You’re invited to gather in the Inside Traktørstedet Vestamager, a cozy café overlooking the thawing landscapes of Kalvebod Fælled, as we welcome the Spring Equinox — a time of balance, renewal, and emerging life.
We’ll open a small, intentional circle devoted to seasonal wild plants and the wisdom they carry. I’ll guide you through one or two plants - their folk stories, medicinal uses, and magical correspondences - drawing from folk knowledge, earth-based spiritual practice, and scientific sources.
This is not a passive event, but a shared ritual space, where stories, memories, and plant knowledge are welcomed and exchanged, honoring the turning of the seasons.
I will invite discussions and individual reflections, but also challenge the collective to go beyond what we can see - to paint the invisible forces that enable the seasonal tides, to represent nature from intimate perspectives, to transmute emotions into art.
As the equinox invites movement from stillness into growth, we’ll shift from listening to making. Hands-on creativity will connect brain, heart, and spirit — guided by the plants we met, the stories we shared, and the land awakening around us.
Come gather, learn, create, and rest in community — a small ritual woven from leaves, stories, color, and the first green of spring. 🍃✨
Program:
16:30 - start - Guided reflections on the themes of the day;
16:45 - We open the circle with a grounding meditation and share our reflections;
17:00 - Short lecture about the plant of the day;
17:30 - we start painting or writing inspired by each other's contributions and some prompts;
18:30 - we share our art pieces and thoughts, take pictures and close the circle;
19:00 - end.

Donation-based ( to cover art supplies, and preparation costs)
Included: drinking water and all art supplies.
NOT included: food or other drinks (available in the café).
