We will also be hearing about what's next for the bushland. TIME?
If possible, please do turn up at 9am so we can greet/brief everyone at once and I don't run back and forth greeting people and giving a spiel to newcomers one by one.
However, if you are unable to come at 9am, please do come at any time possible! Better come later than not at all!
Meet at the pavilion in the bushland.
BRING?
Don't forget closed shoes, a hat, sunscreen and water bottle.
If you have a spade, bring it, but it's not vital. The city will pre-drill holes for us, but it's good to have the option to re-dig those that have collapsed, or dig additional holes.
Council will provide 500+ native seedlings, trowels, stakes, gloves, watering cans and soil improver.
KIDS?
Bring them, they love it and this is an amazing learning experience for them! If you've got a kid-size watering can or small bucket, that is a nice thing to bring to help them feel involved, as they are unable to carry a large watering can. Additionally, if you've got a very large bucket, bring that so they can refill their little bucket from that independently.
Dress them in clothes/shoes that are OK to get muddy.
RSVP?
Please do, so that we don't stress about whether enough people will come. But if you haven't RSVPd, you can still come!
See you there!
