Plant A Fall Victory Garden
Evergreen Nursery is thrilled to welcome back Andrea Gorham and Renata Browne from Tandi Family Farms on Saturday, September 13th from 1:00-2:00 pm for a fact-filled presentation on how to plant your own Fall Victory Garden.
Sharing this historic style of self-sufficient gardening is a big part of Tandi Family Farm's mission as a San Leandro based non-profit. Their local #VictoryGardenProject is actively helping East Bay residents to grow more food in their own backyards.
Andrea and Renata will share tips and techniques for growing a variety of popular cool-season vegetables and herbs in smaller spaces using containers such as wine barrels, small beds, and grow bags. There will be lots of time for Q&A so bring your fall veggie gardening questions.
