This will be one of many meetings to gather Bay Area Black and POC Midwives and midwifery students and apprentices who have been in training a minimum of 6 months of experience to discuss the state of Midwifery in the Bay. What we can do to widen the pathway for Midwifery students and build sustainable compensation structures to ensure longevity for practicing Midwives. Whether they practice home birth, birth center or hospital birth.
