Climate change is already reshaping life in Nelson Tasman, but we can continue to live well by working together. Join us for an interactive evening where we’ll look at what “risk” means for our place, how Councils assess it, and unpack what adapting looks like in our region.
We’ll look at how we plan for uncertainty, keeping our options open.
We’ll make clear who can do what - individuals and community groups, iwi, businesses, and government - and talk honestly about the roadblocks and the real opportunities for our people and environment.
Then we’ll switch to a short game and a big Q&A. Bring your questions, stories and concerns so we can test ideas together, find the information or support people need, and help set the focus for future conversations.
This session will be facilitated by NCC Climate Change Advisor Marie Becdelièvre, Leigh Manson of Te Tauihu Community Development Agency and Nelson Tasman Climate Forum co-chair Joanna Santa Barbara.
