3-day camp
Get ready to build your very own clay critters! In this fun-filled summer camp, kids will learn how to turn simple pinch pots into adorable animals, from sleepy sloths and silly monkeys to frogs, foxes, and fantastical creatures of their own invention.
Campers will master the art of the pinch pot and then add ears, tails, textures, and expressive faces to bring their animals to life. Throughout the week, young artists will explore shaping, attaching clay pieces, and adding colorful glazes to finish their creations.
This camp is perfect for imaginative kids who love animals, storytelling, and getting their hands a little muddy.
Students will choose their favorite studio glaze to complete their work. Fired work will be available for pick up within a month of the final day of class.
What’s included:
- 3 three-hour instructional sessions
- All the clay and materials needed to complete class projects
- A daily snack
Notes on behavior: For children needing extra assistance due to behavioral issues or other concerns, one adult may accompany them to camp. However, please note that the accompanying adult cannot create their own pieces in the camp. Additionally, if a child experiences behavior difficulties during camp and it becomes clear they need one-on-one attention, we may require an adult's attendance for extra support.
Students under the age of 5 will not be permitted to take this class. Ages will be confirmed on the first date of class and any students outside of the class age range will not be able to proceed with class. No refunds, credits, or rescheduling options will be provided.
