You are invited to join us for the 108th Annual Pilgrimage to the Alamo, hosted by the Alamo Mission Chapter - Daughters of the Republic of Texas.Each year, our community comes together to honor the Alamo Heroes and reflect on the heritage of Texas. Historic, civic, patriotic, military, and school groups participate in this solemn wreath-bearing procession.
Participants will gather at 3:15 p.m. at the Vietnam Memorial at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts and depart at 4:00 p.m., walking silently through downtown San Antonio to the Alamo. As the procession makes its way forward, the names of the fallen heroes will be read aloud.
Upon arrival, wreaths will be placed in tribute, followed by a brief ceremony featuring guest speakers.
