PIGLET is coming! Piglet, the deaf, blind puppy, and his siblings, are coming to Sonoma County and they are bringing Dogwood alumni, our very own Lucy/Lucy Lemonade/Lucita with them. 2 years ago Lucy was a stray with broken toes on both back feet. We brought her into our program, got surgeries done and she was adopted to THE most amazing adopters in Connecticut and joined the Piglet Mindset pack!
Piglet, Zoey, Georgie, Lucy and Evie are coming to share their stories of resilience and inclusivity with all of us. We are so excited! For those who don’t know, Piglet and Georgie are both deaf and blind and Melissa and Warren, their parents, have worked hard so that they can, and do, live pretty normal lives. They are amazing! We could all learn a lot from these dogs.
There is no charge for the event, but you should buy tickets in advance. This event is good for adults and children. Please no dogs unless they are a service dog.
