Picture This: Blending Wellness & Creativity in Polaroid Art

In this workshop, participants will create self-portraits that explore how emotions manifest in their bodies through Polaroid photography. Guided exercises will help capture their emotional landscape and reflect on how feelings like joy or sadness influence expression. After taking Polaroids, participants will transfer these images onto canvas using emulsion, transforming them into personal artwork. Wellness practices, such as mindful breathing and movement, will enhance self-awareness. The workshop encourages creativity and emotional exploration in a supportive environment for all skill levels. Participants will leave with crafted Polaroids and canvas art that reflect their unique stories.

• Mobility Range: Workshops will include minor movement components like stretching. Sensitivities: Arts and crafts supplies might have some smells (glue, paint, other mediums)Room will be lightly aromatic. Light refreshments will be provided.
