We are thrilled to welcome back Pick-A-Rib Three to Swing Dance Wednesday Night on March 5th for a full night of live music & dancing on the big, beautiful dance floor at the Eagles 34.I'll start the fun with a dance lesson at 7pm, live music from Pick-A-Rib Three at 8pm.
The venue: The Eagles #34 has a large newly refinished dance floor, free on and off street parking, lots of seating, full bar, dining available until 9pm (with a new Wednesday night menu), and some of the most welcoming dancers and music fans to hang out with.
$10 at the door includes the dance lesson.
About the Pick-A-Rib Three from Tony Balluff:
The Clarinet Trio. Traditional jazz without a net! Benny Goodman led the most famous of these trios with Teddy Wilson and Gene Krupa, but all the clarinetists at one time or another tried the form. Local clarinetist Tony Balluff and drummer Dave Michael from Southside Aces, along with the inimitable pianist Rick Carlson, have been exploring this rich repertoire for seven years now, and swing as hard as any five other guys.
