About this Event
This is a relaxed, social photo walk with a creative twist — focused on colour, connection and slowing down 🐪📸
Whether you’re coming solo or with a friend, this is an easy no-pressure way to meet people who share a love of photography at any level, get outside and see familiar places a little differently.
We’ll walk together at a gentle pace, chat as much or as little as you like and finish with off with coffee at the brand new MoMo! ☕️✨
No critiques. No awkward networking. Just people hanging out, taking photos and making friends!
🎨 How it works (the colour bit)
Everyone will be assigned a colour at the start of the walk.
Alongside taking whatever photos you like, you’ll be encouraged to capture a few extra images where your assigned colour is the focus — whether that’s obvious, subtle, abstract or accidental.
These colour-focused images will be collected from each walk and, if all goes well, brought together into a final exhibition at the end of the series.
This is the first ever event, and if it goes well, the plan is to run it monthly for 4 months, on the last Saturday of each month.
(But don't worry! You can participate as much or as little as you'd like, so there’s no pressure to submit images if you’d rather not!)

- A 45–60 minute easy-paced photo walk
- Flat route, slow pace, accessible for most people
- Phones, film and digital cameras all welcome
- A café stop at the end to sit, chat and unwind
- A friendly, low-pressure social atmosphere

This isn’t a workshop and it’s not about getting the “perfect” image. It’s about creativity, curiosity and connection.
