About this Event

We’re inviting emerging and early-career theatre makers in Scotland to observe an afternoon rehearsal for our brand new production!

'Burnout: A Verbatim Play' is an ensemble-led piece which will be performed at the Tron Theatre in early February 2026. In true Framework form - this entire production is staffed by an exciting group of emerging and early-career theatre makers. This is your chance for a (free!) sneak peek of the play before its debut, and a peek inside a professional rehearsal process.

The open rehearsal will take place at Rockvilla - the headquarters for the National Theatre of Scotland. We hope it can be a relaxed learning opportunity for emerging artists to experience how a professional rehearsal room can be run.

The rehearsal will be facilitated by Emma Ruse, the Director of Burnout and Chief Executive of Framework Theatre. After the rehearsal, there will be time to ask Emma any questions you have about the show, the rehearsal process, or anything else related to the production/Framework. Please note this an observation opportunity, not a workshop.

Tickets are extremely limited for this event so please make sure to register for your free space asap. If you can no longer make it along, please return your ticket/let us know via [email protected]

We’re so excited to show you what we’ve been working on!
