Photography Show with Live Music

Come check out local photographer Malik Ross’ exhibit at Slant of Light Books on 3/28. We will have performances from local musicians Claude and 955stars.

Malik Ross was born in Blue Island, Illinois and raised in the Chicago Metropolitan area. Practicing the medium for roughly 5 years, Ross is a self-taught photographer who primarily makes images of still and candid life. They’ve studied visual and performing arts with a focus on design at Purdue University. Ross has showcased photographic works in Purdue’s annual Juried Student Art Exhibition in 2023, their first group show amongst peers.
