About this Event
Composer, songwriter and performer Phoenix Rousiamanis pays tribute to Manchester's queer communities and ballroom culture with a new audiovisual work.
After the performance Phoenix Rousiamanis and CVNT Traxxx will deliver DJ sets that explore a darker, more experimental side of ballroom beats.
Doors from 7.30pm. Curfew 11pm.
“Similar to queer communities creating safe havens in the contemporary barren political and environmental climate, I want to pluck out moments of beauty from industrial and violent sound-worlds and highlight the concepts of queer perseverance, compassion and love.” - Phoenix Rousiamanis
