Discover a thought-provoking, after-hours event with a difference!
About this Event

See the galleries through fresh eyes to focus on ‘How We Look’ during an evening of hands-on philosophy. Investigate how we view ourselves, others and the world around us through facilitated discussions and creative activities, as well as interactive displays and presentations. This is philosophy for everyone – no experience required.

Take part in an array of different ways to look at art that will get you thinking in new directions. This stimulating event will feature fun and friendly drop-in activities, as well as longer philosophical enquiry discussions which you’ll sign up for on the night; all alongside a pay bar.

Enquire into themes that open your eyes to new perspectives on the art and design exhibitions. We’ll get you thinking and talking to delve into ideas deeply.

You’ll get the chance to ask big questions, talk in-depth to explore ideas, take part in creative thinking activities and have your photo taken by a professional photographer in our pop-up, philosophical photo booth. It’s a whole new experience of the galleries to get a different perspective on art and life.

Everyone can philosophise – come ready to find more questions than you do answers!

All welcome, no experience required. Admission for this event is 16+ only.

Developed in partnership with local philosophy collective Think Together Sheffield , this event is provided free with funding from the Socratic Dialogues UK.
