Since joining the 4th Sheffield Girls’ Brigade at just 9 years old, Annie Smith has grown up with the organisation at the heart of her life empowering others to build confidence, form lasting friendships and develop skills while making a difference in their communities.
This year, Annie was proud to be crowned May Queen — a special tradition honouring dedication, kindness and commitment. She is using her role to raise awareness and funds for St Luke’s Hospice, a charity in Sheffield and close to her heart that provides free, compassionate care for adults with terminal illnesses across Sheffield. Through this, Annie hopes to give back and support the vital work they do for patients and families.
Steel City Ukes are performing a fund raising gig to support Annie raise funds for this amazing Hospice that has and continues to make a difference to so many families.
