The discussion will start at 6:30 pm with doors opening at 6 pm to give you a chance to grab a drink, meet your fellow philosophers and settle in for an evening of discussion.
Whether you have experience with Philosophy or not, there is room for all opinions and reflections. We see this as an opportunity to get us thinking and talking about a topic most of us have an opinion on! You might come prepared with some examples you've struggled with, a philosopher's critique of the topic, or nothing but your own musings.
All are welcome.
Each month, we will choose a different topic selected from member suggestions.
It will be an informal evening centred on building confidence and skills in discussing philosophical topics.
