With original songs by Samara Jade and original story by Mica Sun, this duo of wandering bards weaves a tale relevant for our times called "The Floating Kingdom" — suitable for all ages, yet sophisticated enough to satisfy the most discerning of mythic palettes.
Mica Sun and Samara Jade bring a uniquely original (and yet ancient and familiar) marriage of story and song in “The Floating Kingdom,” an original, theatrical tale of reflection, journey and return. Fine oral storytelling dances with seasoned craftsmanship in music and voice, weaving puppetry with interactive song, original music, and classical fairy tale, themed by reflections on freedom, grief, aging, and the repair of our world. This original production — is guaranteed to delight and entertain while churning the gears of the mind and stirring the waters of the heart.
The duo bookends "The Floating Kingdom" with a heartwarming assortment of original music by Samara, a seasoned touring songstress.

LindoYes (he/him), is a dyslexic spoken word poet born, raised and live in Philadelphia. He has been featured in the Philly Weekly, MetroPhilly Philadelphia Inquirer, Button Poetry, Voices in Power and Def Poetry Jam to name a few. Lindo poetry have expanded to short animations, gumball machines and plays where he has centered black existence, mental health and fantasy/scifi. He the recipient of 2023 Jackie Robinson award by Color of Change, the 2023 "Change Maker" award by Uptown Standards and nominated "The Social Impact" award by Voices In Power. LindoYes, will be releasing December 2024 a graphic novel called "Pawnshop" which is a scifi/fantasy anthology on Mental Health base in Philly.
