THE MEETUP

For our July meetup, we're very excited to welcome back Ceora Ford to share her expertise on leveraging passwordless authentication to keep users safe and developers happy! After Ceora's talk, we'll move to the rooftop to hang out, and talk all things JavaScript and beyond while we take in that gorgeous Philly skyline.

THE PRESENTER

Ceora is a developer advocate at Okta based out of Philadelphia. She's focused on creating educational content that makes coding easier for everyone and loves working with JamStack, GraphQL, and cloud technologies. Outside of tech, she spends way too much time watching anime, listening to K-pop, and attempting to play the guitar.

Keep Your Developers and Users Safe and Happy with Passwordless Authentication

Have you ever struggled to build authentication into your own application? Conversely, have you ever struggled to access your account on any app because you can't remember your password? Passwords are a hassle for everyone and exploring passwordless authentication can open can open the door to solving some of these all too common issues. Let's talk about building passwordless authentication into your own application all through the lens of Beyonce.

This meetup is at Indy Hall’s Clubhouse which includes lots of space to spread out, lots of high quality & natural airflow, and a beautiful view of the city.

To keep our community as safe as possible, we’re working within Indy Hall’s current COVID policies which include:

While full vaccination is required, mask wearing is welcome but optional in all indoor spaces.
If you discover that you have been exposed to COVID, you may not attend for 7 days after the exposure (regardless of symptoms).

Our max capacity for these events at Indy Hall will be 40 people. Since space is limited, if you register and later decide not to attend, please cancel your RSVP to make room for someone else.
