🌟 Live at the Juniper Green Note: the Phil O'Malley & Chris Greive Quintet! 🌟Two outstanding Scottish jazz trombonists come together for a night of swinging, brass-led jazz at the Juniper Green Note.
Phil O’Malley and Chris Greive are joined by a superb rhythm section — Elie Afif (bass), Tom Gordon (drums) — with house pianist John Elliott on piano. The quintet performs classic jazz standards associated with great trombone-led groups of the past, brought to life with fresh energy and elegant arrangements.
Expect lyrical moments such as J.J. Johnson’s Lament alongside high-octane swingers including It’s Alright With Me and This Could Be the Start of Something Big — an evening of joyful improvisation, deep groove, and irresistible swing.
