Since the birth of nation, women have been an integral part to its growth and success. Despite the role they have played in the United States, they still are fighting to obtain equality. This talk will discuss the contributions of women in history who have advocated for social justice and equality in the past 250 years. There will be special emphasis of the contributions of Women of Color and Women in Missouri. Presented by Dr. Ayanna Shivers
