ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A TICKET.Experience the dazzling display of fireflies this June and explore Ijams' trails as they light up with the glow of these incredible beetles! With an Ijams naturalist, you'll learn about how and why lightning bugs use their bioluminescence to communicate, and gain a larger understanding of these phenomenal fireflies.
Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 2 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. Refund Policy: No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
