FLOURISH: Empathy and Communication in the Recovery Workforce

This series will help professionals identify practical and sustainable ways to practice empathy and compassion, both with our clients and with ourselves. In Part One, Barbara Mooney, LCSW, will explore how empathetic practice can impact client outcomes. Participants will learn Motivational Interviewing techniques to enhance engagement and discuss common communication blocks in treatment settings. Participants will be given examples of experiential practices to strengthen empathetic presence and attunement.

There are two session options, 10 am - 12 pm OR 1 pm - 3 pm. Each participant only needs to attend one session to recieve two hours of continuing education credits.
