Entry cost is £7 and booking is essential (through Eventbrite) as there is limited seating capacity. Please note that access is via a steep staircase and there is no lift. Drinks can be purchased from the bar downstairs throughout the evening. There will be a short interval after the first two of the evening's three stories.
Julia Green is the author of more than 20 novels and stories for children and young adults. Recent books include Ettie and the Midnight Pool, The Children of Swallow Fell, The House of Light (nominated for The Carnegie Award 2020) and To the Edge of the World (nominated for The Carnegie Award 2019). Julia has a PhD in Creative Writing and is Emeritus Professor of Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, where she devised, and was until 2019 Course Director for, the MA Writing for Young People. She now lives at the North East coast with her husband, David Almond.
