Sebastian Faulks’s epic story of love and loss, Birdsong, returns to the stage at Newcastle Theatre Royal (Tue 21 – Sat 25 Jan 2025) marking the 30th anniversary of the international best-selling novel. Join us for a talk with a member of The Royal British Legion to discover more about the life of a soldier during the Great War ahead of the stage production which tells the story of one man’s journey through an all-consuming love affair and into the horror of the First World War.
