Petting Zoo: Willo, Jackyboom, Couch Mechanic, Houv

Jackyboom hailing from London has been making serious waves with his debut release Space Funk going viral, plays coming in from Chris Stussy, Locklead and Dr Banana. His momentum has taken him to the coolest clubs around Europe, Thuishaven & Shelter and his momentum isn't slowing down. He touches down in Australia for the first time and it's happening at Petting Zoo.

Willo doesn't need much of an introduction. One of Australia’s most exciting dance music exports, known for sets and productions that mix heartfelt nostalgia with a fresh, club-driven sound. Her track Funk2 has been rising through the underground, with another big release on the way. She's been a main stay of club culture in Australia and isn't going anywhere.

Couch Mechanic closes on wax. House, hypnotic techno, strictly vinyl. He closed Subsonic, played Lost Paradise, Chinese Laundry, held his own on a lineup with Fjaak. He's done the hard yards and it shows in the way he plays. Expect him to go to the deepest parts of the underground with his set, closing out the night.

Houv is a Sydney-based house DJ delivering groove-led, feel-good sets driven by deep, rolling basslines. Influenced by contemporary UK and European house sounds, his style centres on groove and flow, with the versatility to push into harder, high-octane selections, adding a tasteful glaze of club-ready, hard-hitting energy. He'll be on opening duties.
