Four diverse musical souls, from different countries, going on a Jazz journey of original compositions mixed with creative interpretation of famous Jazz standards.
Soulful saxophonist Peter Ehwald, refined pianist Tino Derado, creative bassist Rodolfo Paccapelo from Argentina and swinging international drummer/composer Andrea Marcelli.
Continuous music dialogues, grooves, passion, dynamics and colors of acoustic Jazz at his best. Expect Beautiful themes and exciting rhythms and different kinds of Jazz Moods!

Drummer/composer ANDREA MARCELLI moved to the USA in 1989,
spending eight years in Los Angeles and four in New York City.
He has resided in Berlin since 2001. He recorded over 200 of his compositions and two of his tunes are included in both “The European Real Book“ and “The Digital Real Book part 2“. He is
leading an active international musical life, performing with Wayne Shorter,
Don Menza, Allan Holdsworth, Mike Stern, Bob Mintzer, Eddie Gomez,
Ralph Towner, Eberhard Weber, Markus Stockhausen, Palle Danielsson,
John Patitucci, Mike Mainieri, Hiram Bullock, Frank Gambale, Andy
Summers and others. He recorded many albums and two critically acclaimed Cds with legendary Major Label Verve/PolyGram.

PETER EHWALD - saxophones, studied at the music academies in Weimar and Köln, at the Royal Academy of Music in London and at City College New York. Rewarded with a prestigious DAAD scholarship he taught Jazz-Combo and Big Band from 2005 to 2007 as a graduate assistant at the City College,
New York. His composition Alanis was performed at Carnegie Hall in spring 2007. Since 2011 Peter has been the artistic director of Backyard Jazz Orchestra, a Big Band project, which is initiated by Goethe Institut. Peter is an intensely touring musician, who performs with many bands with Musicians like: Clarence Penn, Rudi Mahall, Frank Möbus, Gene Calderazzo, Dan Weiss, Scott Reeves, Anthony Pinciotti.

TINO DERADO, pianist/composer, a graduate (BFA) of Berklee College of Music (Boston) and the New School (New York) Tino Derado , who studied on a Eubie Blake Scholarship. In reflection of his mixed cultural heritage (Croatian/ German), he soon developed a dynamic interest in ethnic and world music.
Tino performed with Gary Burton, Peter Erskine, Randy Brecker, Bill Evans, Paul Winter, Dave Liebman, Frank Gambale, Avishy Cohen, Craig Handy, Billy Drewes, Matthew Garrison, Rebekka Bakken, Nils Langren, Papo Vasquez, Andy Gonzales and Bob Moses among others.
Derado has lived 12 years in New York and has moved back to Berlin/Germany. He is frequently working with the NDR Bigband and teaching at the JIB University (Berlin). In 2014 he was appointed to be Professor at the Musikhochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover.

RODOLFO PACCAPELO- Bass, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Studied in conservatories such as ConservatorioNacional Manuel de Falla and ITMC in Buenos Aires. He took private studies with top–class musicians like Ernesto Jodos, Hernan Merlo and Teodoro Cromberg. Since 2000Rodolfo Paccapelo hasbeen living and working as a professional musician in Berlin, where he also studied music at the Universität der Künste and the academic degree of a Diplommusikerzieher(2007) received. Rodolfo Paccapelo worked with musicians such as Richie Beirach, Steve Grossman,Ralph Towner, Markus Stockhausen, John Schroeder, LuisStazo (grammy award winner), Quinteto Angel, Julia Zenko and so on.
