Join us in demanding that Petco stop selling animals! Most people shop at Petco because they care for animals. They may have no idea that the animals on the store’s shelves come from horrifically cruel breeding mills and some species are even kidnapped from their habitats in the wild. Shockingly, the majority of animals bred and shipped to pet stores die before they even reach the store shelf.
Selling animals is costing millions of them their lives. Animals are not commodities and Petco must stop treating them as such!
When: Sunday, April 19th 12noon
Where: Meet outside of MOD Pizza at 2308 S Shore Center, Alameda, CA
Accessibility: We will walk a short distance from the meeting location to the store where we will mostly be standing for about an hour
