Bring your pets to our shelter house to receive a blessing, Sunday October 5th at 12:15pm. The Blessing of the Pets is typically held on or near October 4th, which is the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi - the patron saint of animals.
The purpose of this blessing is to acknowledge all creation - including God's love for all creatures great and small, and to ask God for their well being and protection.
