Hey Lanfair family! It’s that time again – our annual family reunion is happening on Sunday, October 5th (as always, the first Sunday in October)! ❤️
We’re so happy to share that we were able to snag a shelter house for this year’s get-together – HUGE thanks to a generous family member who loaned us the money so we didn’t miss out. 🙌 Because times are tough for everyone, we’ll have a donation bucket at the reunion to help pay them back, cover the cost for our Christmas gathering (already reserved!) and get a head start on next year’s reunion so we can plan early and get everything we want. Every bit helps, and we appreciate you all so much! 💕
This year’s theme is “Gone Fishin’” 🎣 – a simple, fun vibe for a relaxing day together. We’ll be right by the pond, so bring your poles, some bait, and let’s see who catches the BIGGEST fish! 🐠 Catch and release, no license needed!
We went simple this year to keep things stress-free (as not everyone was into the "big themes with dress-ups and games and costumes and decor and games became expensive for the one planning), but if you’d love to jump in and help plan themes, decorations, or games for next year (or Christmas), let’s start early (months early so that we have what we need and not waiting till the very last minute and then it's not done, the more help with planning and financials the less stress it is for those who want this to continue year to year) and make it amazing together! 💡✨
We can’t wait to laugh, eat, fish, and spend time with the BEST family ever. 🥰 Mark your calendars, pack your own drinks and a side dish to go with hamburgers and hotdogs, and get ready for a day full of memories!
