Overview
This two hour webinar, designed for professionals, dives into the basics on pesticides, IPM, pesticide resistance, how pesticides can move in the environment, potential non-target organisms and best practices for handling pesticides. Continuing education units (CEUs) are also available for attendance for individuals that already have obtained their pesticide applicator license. The cost for attendance is $15.
This event will be held online via Zoom*. Please be prepared to arrive at least 15 minutes early to the class. The zoom link will be sent to the email used in the event registration prior to the class. Registration for this class will close on April 15th at 11:59 pm.
CEUs
If you already hold a pesticide license, you can attend this class to receive 2 CEU credits in either the 487 GENERAL STANDARDS/CORE or 482 GENERAL STANDARDS/CORE categories.
To receive CEU credit, you must attend the full duration of the class and participate. Attendance will be verified. For CEU credit, each person needs to attend using their own electronic device. f you have already taken a previous offering of this class (FDACS Program: 38376) on a different date and been awarded the CEUs in the last year, you cannot retake it for additional CEU credit.
