CHALLENGING LGBTQ+ DISCRIMINATION AT WORK

A quarter of staff claim to hear or witness homophobic, biphobic and transphobic comments or actions at work and many claim not to have the knowledge, skills or confidence to intervene effectively with colleagues or customers when it happens. Led by two CIPD qualified HR Managers this lunchtime learning event summarises current research into LGBTQ+ discrimination, clarifies current law and HR policy, and outlines best practice approaches to intervening speedily and effectively to keep the workplace a safe place for all.
