The loud, sweaty, spinning, everyone’s-in-it kind.
We’re taking over Perth City Farm for one big winter night, and if you’ve been to a ceilidh before, you already know… this is going to go off.
💃 GET READY TO DANCE (OR GET DRAGGED INTO IT)
Doors open at 6pm
The WA Pipe Band will get things started
Gallus hit the stage at 7pm
From there… it’s game on.
Expect:
- Big group dances
- Strangers grabbing your hands and spinning you about
- A full dance floor within minutes
No experience needed.
Two left feet welcome.
We’re big believers in enthusiasm over perfection, so just get stuck in.
🎶 GALLUS LIVE
We’ve locked in Gallus, an internationally touring ceilidh band known for selling out venues and turning dance floors into absolute chaos (the good kind).
Think:
- Pipes and fiddles
- Traditional reels and jigs
- A few unexpected twists thrown in
You’ll start off laughing… and before you know it, you’re deep into Strip The Willow with 300 other people.
🔥 THE VIBE
We’re expecting 300+ people and this is not a quiet crowd.
It’s:
- loud
- welcoming
- slightly chaotic
and very, very fun
You’ll lose your mates… and gain a few more along the way.
Everyone is welcome. Bring your kids, bring your mates form work that have never heard of a ceilidh and drag along your neighbour from down the road!
🍔🍻 FOOD & DRINK
You won’t go hungry or thirsty.
- Good old Scottish grub available on site
- Full bar running all night
- Fuel up, hydrate, and get back on the floor.
🥃 DRESS CODE (STRONGLY ENCOURAGED)
- Kilts.
- Posh frocks.
A wee bit of tartan if you’ve got it.
Or just come as you are… you’ll still end up dancing.
