About your contributors
CW+
CW+ is the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Its Arts for All programme brings daily music, performance and creative activities into hospital wards, using art as a tool for healing. The charity's work builds on the robust body of evidence that outstanding engagement with the arts can improve physical and mental wellbeing.
Akademi South Asian Dance
Akademi makes vibrant, fascinating and meaningful South Asian dance. Using the compelling power of storytelling, rhythm and gestures, they aim to create deeper connections with each other and our wider world. Akademi has been a partner of CW+ for more than two decades, delivering performances to staff, patients and visitors within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Pluck
Pluck is a series of sensory mini-theatre shows, using puppetry and live harp music, created for patients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Pluck has been developed by CW+ Resident Arts for All artists Joni-Rae Carrack and Mark Levin, whose performances encourage people to interact and engage.
ChelWest Singers
The ChelWest Singers are the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust staff choir. Led by CW+ Arts for All facilitator Natasha Lohan, a musician, performer and teacher, the choir practises a varied repertoire during its weekly rehearsals in the CW+ Studio.
