Personal Trainer and Pom Poko – two of the most exciting acts to emerge from the indie circuit join forces for a co-headline show in Bristol at our transformed venue.Dutch septet Personal Trainer churn out songs that sound like all your favorite indie rock luminaries jam-packed into big-beaming pop psalms. Their first full-length LP Big Love Blanket brings a fresh pop sensibility and adventurous production values to songs that have been well-honed on the stage.
Between Pom Poko‘s sweet melodies, galvanic punky ructions and wild-at-art-rock eruptions, 2021’s Cheater is the sound of a band celebrating the binding extremes that make them so uniquely qualified to thrill and fulfil any need you might have for a pick-you-up.
