About this Event
Join Alexa Robinson and Jenny Griffith for a hands-on 4-hour permaculture workshop where we’ll explore how intentional landscapes can benefit both humans and the broader ecosystem, creating resilient and regenerative spaces that support life in all forms.
Through guided activities, we’ll dive into: • Soil health and fertility as the foundation for thriving plant communities • Systems thinking—examining height, space, and species interactions • Stacking functions—designing plants and structures to provide multiple benefits simultaneously • Plant guilds and species relationships—how diverse plants, herbs, and native species collaborate to build productive, self-sustaining systems
By the end of the workshop, you’ll understand how to thoughtfully integrate herbal medicine gardens, food forests, and native habitats, creating landscapes that are both beautiful and ecologically functional.
