Metal ünnep érkezik Budapestre: Periphery és Within Destruction koncert Budapesten.A progresszív metal egyik legmeghatározóbb zenekara, a Periphery tér vissza Budapestre, augusztus 3-án a Dürer Kert színpadára áll fel. Az este különleges vendége a szlovén Within Destruction lesz, így a modern metal két markánsan eltérő, mégis határfeszegető képviselője egy estén lép fel.
Mindkét zenekar ismerős már a hazai közönség számára, korábbi magyarországi koncertjeik után most egy még erősebb, aktuális produkcióval térnek vissza. A Periphery az elmúlt közel két évtizedben a műfaj élvonalába emelkedett, technikai precizitásukkal, összetett dalszerkezetükkel és folyamatos megújulásaikkal. 2010-es debütáló lemezük után egyre erősebben lépdeltek a nemzetközi hírnév irányába, turnékkal, háromszori Billboard TOP 25-be kerüléssel, valamint eddig megjelent kilenc lemezükkel.
A GRAMMY®-díjra jelölt ötös - Misha Mansoor (gitár), Jake Bowen (gitár), Matt Halpern (dob), Spencer Sotelo (ének), és Mark Holcomb (gitár) - most egy új iránnyal jelentkezik, számukra ez a turné különösen fontos állomás a karrierükben, hiszen következő albumuk A Pale White Dot május 15-én érkezik minden rajongó legnagyobb örömére. A metal celebration is coming to Budapest: Periphery and Within Destruction concert in Budapest.
One of the most defining bands of progressive metal, Periphery, returns to Budapest to take the stage at Dürer Kert on August 3. The evening’s special guest will be Slovenia’s Within Destruction, bringing together two distinctly different yet boundary-pushing representatives of modern metal for one night.
Both bands are already familiar to Hungarian audiences, and following their previous performances in Hungary, they are returning with an even stronger, up-to-date production. Over the past nearly two decades, Periphery has risen to the forefront of the genre, thanks to their technical precision, complex song structures, and constant evolution. Since their 2010 debut album, they have steadily gained international recognition, with extensive touring, three appearances in the Billboard Top 25, and a total of nine albums released so far.
The GRAMMY®-nominated quintet - Misha Mansoor (guitar), Jake Bowen (guitar), Matt Halpern (drums), Spencer Sotelo (vocals), and Mark Holcomb (guitar) - is now presenting a new direction. This tour marks a particularly important milestone in their career, as their upcoming album, A Pale White Dot, is set to be released on May 15, much to the delight of fans.
