Join us for a day of piano performances by internationally renowned musicians. The morning will feature ‘The Rite of Spring’ (Le Sacre du Printemps) by Igor Stravinsky (1882–1971) – A duet on two pianos played by Bruce Nockles and Pip Eastop. The afternoon will be 'Jazz: Composition in Real Time' – played by Gareth Williams and will be a unique, partly improvised performance by one of the most intensely creative, dynamic and exciting performers on the UK scene.
World Piano Day is an annual, worldwide celebration held on the 88th day of the year, symbolising the 88 keys on a standard piano.
