Performance: Takahiro Yamamoto

Takahiro collaborates with José Ortiz-Pagán, a Philadelphia-based artist, with both of their diasporic experiences informing the work. The choreography emerges through deep interpersonal and philosophical conversations between the performers. Together, they approach nothingness and being as a shifting condition held between two states. Exploring in-between space, the performance consists of slowness, physical intensity, and delicate balance.
