Visit Snug Harbor's Chinese tree peony collection and learn why these flowers have inspired gardeners, artists, and poets for over a thousand years. Peonies bloom furiously and briefly within a narrow range of climate conditions. Join us as we await the arrival of our spring beauties. No one can yet guarantee the period of peak bloom. Tree peonies have historically bloomed at Snug Harbor during the last week of April or the first week of May. However, our changing climate has led to greater variability in the blooming of the peonies. This tour is rain or shine. Tickets include admission to the Chinese Scholar's Garden.When:
