The Penderecki String Quartet and Montreal’s Pentaèdre Quintet unite for a rare chamber performance of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, arranged by Klaus Simon and featuring soprano Leslie Fagan. The evening also includes a World Premiere commissioned for Laurier’s 50th anniversary, composed by alumnus Jeffery Ryan.
In celebration of Laurier's 50th anniversary, the Laurier Guest Artist Series brings renowned guest artists to campus, curated by the internationally acclaimed Penderecki String Quartet (PSQ). The PSQ has thoughtfully selected each ensemble to offer powerful, professional performances that connect Laurier's musical legacy with the broader musical world.
