about the series
join us for deep care - a 3 session series focused on trauma-sensitive sexual and reproductive wellness for women and gender diverse people of colour. our intention is to de-stigmatize conversations and practices around sexual and reproductive health in the community, through education and connection.
about the session
our first deep session is a pelvic-physiotherapist led conversation, followed a 50 minute pelvic floor yoga and pilates class. please bring your questions! at this gathering, you can expect a non-judgmental space and honest conversations. there will be light snacks and teas provided.
about your guides
surabhi veitch, (she/her) also known as the passionate physio, is an orthopaedic and pelvic floor physiotherapist with 15 years of experience. she is also a pregnancy & postpartum fitness coach & a mom to 2 incredible humans. she is passionate about educating and empowering folks to understand and believe in their bodies and their capacity to heal. she aims to cultivate trauma-sensitive space for you to feel seen, heard and cared for through life’s major transitions including pregnancy, postpartum and parenthood.
tanya jordan (she/her) teaches from the inside out. with a background in yoga, meditation, and tantra, her classes invite quiet transformation-anchored in presence, connection, and care. whe first came to yoga seeking stress relief and stayed for the deep, inner shifts it sparked. today, she offers practices that are grounding, expansive, and gently powerful, helping students return to themselves, one breath at a time.

location:
the villij is at street level, but there are there are 5 interior steps once you enter the building. unfortunately there is no elevator access.
there is one gender neutral changeroom.
