Get to Know Your Pelvic Floor
Let’s chat about hormones and pelvic floor! Whether you’re preparing your body to conceive, prenatal, or navigating postpartum recovery, understanding the role your hormones play in pelvic floor health and function is key to feeling strong and empowered in your birthing body. The major hormonal shifts your body goes through as a soon-to-be or new mom have an impact on your energy levels, physical performance, and pelvic floor function. But fear not! We at PowerPlaySF are deeply committed to supporting you with the knowledge and strength training you need to feel like the best version of yourself.
On Tuesday, October 7, we’re welcoming Dr. Morgan Conner, Pelvic Floor Therapist, into the studio where she’ll be meeting one-on-one with clients and providing advice on navigating pelvic health through hormonal phases. If you’re actively trying to conceive, already have a bun in the oven, or just welcomed your little one into the world, your hormones and pelvic floor are going through major changes and we are here to support you!
The event will begin with light snacks and a Pilates flow while clients are individually pulled aside for their consultation slot with Dr. Morgan.
