
About this Event
Natural Areas Conservancy will host a Pathkeeper Structure Builder "Trail Work Fridays" at Pelham Bay Park on Friday, September 26. This series will be taking place on the last Friday of the month from June-October at Pelham Bay & Seton Falls Parks. If you are attending, please fill out this volunteer waiver.
Meeting Location: Orchard Beach Bus Terminal (Across the street from Orchard Beach Parking Lot)
- If taking public transit, take the 6 train to Pelham Bay Park (last stop) and transfer to the Bx12 Bus to the Orchard Beach Bus Terminal.
Time: 10am - 2pm
We look forward to having you all join us for a Structure Builder Workday at Pelham Bay Park! This event is free and open to the public.
This project will include the installation of puncheons near the Orchard Beach Siwanoy Trail.
During this workday you will:
- Learn how to plan and assess site to install a puncheon
- Install a puncheon
What should you bring:
- A water bottle
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Long pants
- Sturdy, closed toe shoes
