About this Event
In this one-day workshop, BDC founder and photojournalist Michael Kamber will conduct an intensive class in the basics of 35mm analog photography. Students will learn camera mechanics, take photographs with vintage 35mm cameras, develop their own film, and make silver gelatin prints in the BDC darkroom.
The BDC has cameras available for students to use during class time. Students may also bring their own analog cameras if they wish.
One roll of film and four sheets of 8x10 paper will be provided to each student—materials cost is included in the class fee. Additional film and paper may be purchased at the BDC.
Course is subject to minimum enrollment, please register early. Please note you must be 18+ to take this workshop.
