Join us for a 3-hour immersive woodworking experience where you’ll learn essential skills and safe handling of power tools. Guided step-by-step, you’ll create a 6×6 geometric work of art using locally sourced reclaimed wood. Once your piece is complete, we’ll celebrate together with drinks and light snacks. No prior experience is required — all materials, tools and safety gear are included, and you’ll take home your finished creation in one of my signature Gomez Design Studio totes. I look forward to you joining us for a fun night of building!

In this workshop, you will learn:

• Safe handling and basic operation of power tools.

• How to measure, cut, and assemble reclaimed wood.
• Techniques for sanding and finishing.
• Creating geometric patterns for your pieces.

Please note: This is a BYOB event intended for adults ages 21+ only. To keep everyone safe, alcohol will NOT be allowed while using power tools. All class registrations are final. If you cannot make the event for any reason (I get it, life happens), I will apply your ticket to a future build. You can also gift or sell your spot to a friend so it doesn't go to waste. By registering for this workshop, you are agreeing to abide by these policies. Thank you for supporting my small business!

For woodshop newbies, please remember to dress appropriately. This means no open- toed shoes, no loose shirts or dangling jewelry, and for those with long hair or braids, please be able to tie it up. I will review all safety protocols at the beginning of class.

*Please do your best to arrive 15 minutes early to get settled and sign waivers. The gallery space is only booked for 3 hours, so I want to be sure we finish in time! Unfortunately we cannot stay later to accommodate late arrivals.
