After a brief performance, the dancers of GHDT will lead the audience through an adventure of movement and music, exploring basic concepts of dance. This enriching and captivating program will energize and encourage artistic creativity in participants of all ages.Designed for children ages 1-7, Peanut Butter & Jam sessions encourage young children to become engaged in the arts. About the Performers:
Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre is the resident professional dance company at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts, combining modern dance, classical and contemporary ballet, theatre, and cultural dance forms to create a unique style of movement with an emphasis on theatrical storytelling. GHDT has created a large repertoire ranging from small pieces to full-length ballets that are rich in contrasts and appealing to a broad-based audience. GHDT is committed to creating dances dealing with relevant social, cultural, historical and spiritual themes.
