About The Artist
Traver Dodorye is a Haitian fine artist based in Fort Lauderdale, whose abstract, textured works explore emotion, experience, and storytelling. A Coconut Creek High School Hall of Fame inductee and Broward College graduate, Dodorye’s art combines abstract expressionism with 3D elements, layered with personal and social narratives. His work, featured at Miami Art Basel 2019 and 2023, reflects themes of resilience, identity, and societal challenges. With exhibitions across the U.S. and internationally, Dodorye continues to create thought-provoking pieces that confront and inspire.

Founded in 2004 to commemorate Haiti’s Bicentennial, the Haitian Heritage Museum (HHM) is a 501c3 organization that is committed to highlighting and preserving Haiti’s rich culture and heritage globally. Our goal is to provide a cultural Mecca for Little Haiti where individuals outside of our community and within our community boundaries can come to enjoy beautiful Haitian art, historic artifacts, ethnic sounds of Haitian music, view Haitian films and enjoy a collection of Haitian literary works.
