About this Event
We’re excited to invite you to an inaugural event to kick-off a Community of Practice (CoP) for Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) in Southwark.
What is a Community of Practice?
A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group of people who share a concern or passion for something they do and strive to improve through regular interaction and shared learning. The PBS Community of Practice will be a space for people from across the health, social care, education and community sectors to come together to share best practice, ideas and resources to support continuous learning and application of PBS-informed approaches across Southwark.
Who is it for?
Anyone who supports children or adults with a learning disability in Southwark, including family members, carers, support staff, teachers, health professionals, social workers, personal assistants, managers and senior leaders.
If you are an individual with lived-experience, please do not hesitate to get in touch as we would be keen to hear how we can create a safe space for your voice.
If you have any questions, or are unsure if this is an event for you, please contact us at [email protected].
Thank you for your participation. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of PBS across Southwark!
