This Is The Music presents PAYOLA, HAZY SUNDAYS, and BILLOBUCKERS live at The Waiting Room N16.
PAYOLA (Main support): Payola are Robbie Capel (Rhythm Guitar), Craig Edmonds (Drums), Dave Farley (Lead Vocals), Scott Forsyth (Lead Guitar) and Matt Peel (Bass Guitar) and were formed in The Argyll Arms pub, off Oxford Street, in January 2024 through a united love of 60's rock n' roll, soul, 70's punk, 90's indie & Britpop.
Located across London and Essex, the band have spent 2024 writing and perfecting their sound with the ambition to deliver a consistent string of high-quality releases and a desire to add something new to an already brilliant new music scene. The first two singles ‘Born Out Of Frustration’ and ‘The Way It All Begins’ have both been released to high acclaim with further releases and live shows to come in 2025. Payola do not disappoint.

HAZY SUNDAYS (Headline): Hazy Sundays are a 4 piece indie rock band from Glasgow, Scotland, formed in 2022.
The band have been gigging relentlessly since their formation and have supported the likes of Reverend and the Makers, and played alongside Chris Helme (The Seahorses) and Bez (Happy Mondays). They've had mainstream radio play and featured on John Kennedy's X-posure Radio X Show. Influences are The Libertines, Kasabian, Oasis and many more.
BILLOBUCKERS (Opener): BilloBuckers are an indie band consisting of, Billy (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals), 25, Callum (Bass) 20, Alastair (Lead guitar), 20, and George (Drums), 27. Billy spent most of lock down and the COVID pandemic writing songs and demoing them and caught the attention of producer Matt Cotterill, the 2 have spent the last year working on a 5 song EP, which is ready to create a wave on the indie scene.
